I came to live in the US in 1980 and discovered how much I appreciate art. When I was eight years old, I clearly recalled an artist from Europe visiting the temples of Thailand]. He was putting down so many beautiful colors on his paper rendering the stone colors of the temples so effortlessly. I had no idea he could make water color so beautiful. I was impressed and I stood there watching him working for at least an hour. That was when I really fell in love with art.
Paintings and drawings have always been a part of my life. My art education ended when I graduated from high school despite my art teacher's encouragement, instead I decided to pursue the science field in college. However, I've always painted from time to time. Photographing weddings on the weekends became a part of my life for a few years. Photographing children have always been my favorite part of photography as well as landscapes. Now that I have more time since the birth of my three-year old lovely son, I am awakened again with the inspiration of paintings and drawings traditionally and digitally.
